Wonderland Makarora Lodge exceeded all expectations with its serene, wooded setting and comfortable accommodations. The A-frame cabin was not only clean and cozy but also equipped with a well-appointed kitchenette, making our stay incredibly convenient. Surrounded by stunning mountains and hiking trails, the location is a nature lover's paradise. The absence of mosquitos and sandflies was a pleasant surprise, allowing us to fully enjoy the picturesque surroundings. With friendly staff, welcoming amenities like free Wi-Fi in public areas, and the opportunity for astrophotography under the clear night sky, this lodge truly offers exceptional value for a peaceful and memorable getaway in the heart of nature.
